In 1998, before becoming Alaska's Queen, Sarah Palin spent a year living among high-schoolers. In her controversial program, she made a name for herself on the basketball and debate teams.

During her year she was also elected student body president rallying the 30 person class with a call for reform and responsible prom committee spending. Her tenure ended in controversy as she used her position of power to pressure the football coach to bench the star quarterback. Citing his poor performance, it was later discovered that the quarteback had actually just had a difficult break up with Palin's BFF.

Eventually pushed from office, she finished the year as an outcast.

When asked for comment, Biden said "1962.. good year. I'd like to take this opportunity to re-affirm my support for Algerian independence and demand the stop to terrorist activities in this sovereign nation."

If Gollum had been the beneficiary of better fortune and not descended into madness as a result of the Sauron's ring we can imagine all of the great things he would have done with his life.

Graduating in 1990, Gollum was profoundly affected by the fall of the Soviet Union and spent the summer travelling in Europe. While in Italy, Gollum watched West Germany defeat Argentina in the world cup.

Gollum would later pursue a degree in Public Policy and Conflict Analysis leading to a prominent career as a negotiator. Most notably, Gollum successfully brokered the Dayton Accords and then promptly threw Slobadan Milosevic into a pit of molten lava.

Russia & Georgia (an Alternate history)

Today, Russia and Georgia celebrated the union of their two beloved leaders, Mikheil Saakashvili and Vladamira Putin. The marriage comes after years of romance and years of cross-border prosperity.

This marks the beginning of bright future for both the Russian and Georgian people.
